Getting Started: Step by Step
1 Sign Up and Create Your Account
Begin on the homepage and choose Try FAQ Ally Free (or open See How It Works if you want the demo first). Create your account with your work email, then confirm it from the verification message before signing in.
2 Add Knowledge Your Agent Can Use
Open Knowledge in the app. Under Files (/knowledge/files), upload policies, handbooks, and other documents. FAQ Ally supports PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV, XLSX, JSON, XML, HTML, and MD for training. Optionally add Snippets (/knowledge/snippets): short, tagged notes that train like documents when they share an agent’s document tags and are marked Training Ready. Tags on files and snippets must overlap the agent’s document tags so training knows what to include.
3 Train Your AI Agent
From AI Agents, open the agent, review the training preview (files and snippets that match), then run Train or Retrain. The system chunks and embeds your sources so answers can cite the passages they use.
4 Deploy and Test Your Agent
Deploy your trained AI agent and test it with sample questions. Invite your team members to start using the agent for easy access to your company knowledge.
